Welcome to the Pitreavie Pre-school playgroup website

Pitreavie Playgroup provides a gentle introduction to independence and separation from parents for children in a homely environment then progresses to learning and development in the pre-school curriculum:

• Located in The Bungalow, Pitreavie Playing Fields, Queensferry Road, Dunfermline
• Ample free parking
• Stimulating environment and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for children to socialise with children of their own age
• Secure enclosed garden
• A greater say for parents in their child’s learning and development
• Funded places for eligible children with optional wrap around care on fee paying basis
• Fee paying sessions for children from two years old
• Playfriends for children with additional support needs

• 3 and 4 year olds: Pitreavie Playgroup offers Early Learning and Childcare from the first intake after their qualifying birthday until they're due to start school. At Playgroup you can choose between Term Time hours (9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday) or our 50 week pattern (8:30am to 1pm, Monday to Friday). Wrap around hours can be added on a fee paying basis. Families may be able to share their 1140 funded hours between different nursery settings.
• 2 year olds: Families can choose between all day, mornings sessions and afternoon sessions.

Session Times are Monday to Friday

All Day Term Time:
7 hours - 8.30am to 3.30pm
6.5 hours - 8.30am to 3pm
6.5 hours - 9am to 3.30pm
6 hours - 9am to 3pm

Morning 50 Weeks:
4.5 hours - 8.30am to 1pm
4 hours - 8.30am to 12.30pm
4 hours - 9am to 1pm
3.5 hours - 9am to 12.30pm

Afternoon Term Time:
2 hours - 1.15pm to 3.15pm
